Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to join our team. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and maintaining network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field service, computer hardware, and network installation.
Scope of efforts would be to support the conversion of an enterprise facility from an end user device perspective. This team will deploy PCs, Thin Clients, and Peripherals to locations around the Meridian, MS area .
Most work will occur during regular business hours Monday through Friday with some opportunities for overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network related issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Assist with equipment repair and maintenance
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement IT solutions
- Document all technical procedures and configurations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with network installation and configuration
- Excellent problem-solving skills
