IT Asset Manager manages the operations of the IT asset and inventory management function. Manages the maintenance of records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software. Being an IT Asset Manager minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking. Tracks quality throughout the product lifetime. Additionally, IT Asset Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Asset Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an IT Asset Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Manager of Asset Performance Excellence

  • 1.     Execution of Strategies:

    1.1.  Implement asset performance strategies developed by the Director to achieve organizational goals.

    1.2.  Lead day-to-day activities within the plant to enhance asset efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.

     

    2.     Teamwork:

    2.1.  Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

    2.2.  Assist Engineering department in the planning and successful execution of engineering projects.

    2.3.  Work with plant maintenance and operations leadership in the planning and scheduling of value-added weekend work.

     

    3.     Data Analysis:

    3.1.  Utilize data analytics tools to monitor and analyze asset performance metrics.

    3.2.  Identify trends and areas for improvement, presenting findings to the Director for strategic decision-making.

     

    4.     Process Improvement:

    4.1.  Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize asset lifecycle management and reduce operational costs.

    4.2.  Work closely with the team to identify and implement best practices in asset management.

    4.3.  Build and monitor the preventative maintenance systems to ensure completeness and quality of execution.

    4.4.  Aids in the development of equipment centerlines to improve operational downtime caused by inaccurate equipment parameters.

    4.5.  Responsible for the comprehensive administration, optimization, and strategic utilization of the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), ensuring its seamless integration with organizational processes to enhance efficiency and reliability in maintenance operations.

    5.     Collaboration:

    5.1.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with asset performance goals.

    5.2.  Assist in coordinating efforts with external partners and vendors to achieve optimal asset outcomes.

     

     

    6.     Reporting and Communication:

    6.1.  Prepare regular reports on asset performance for the Director and other stakeholders.

    6.2.  Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on key performance indicators.

     

    7.     Training and Development:

    7.1.  Support the professional development of team members through training programs and skill-building initiatives.

    7.2.  Ensure team members are well-equipped with the knowledge and tools needed for success.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required).

    ·      Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.

    ·      Proven experience (5 years) in asset management, with a focus on performance optimization.

    ·      Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) and/or Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) a plus.

    ·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools.

    ·      Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

    ·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
