What you will do:

• Develop an inventory process that is consistent with industry standards to ensure compliance of all regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Facilitates the administration and management of Silgan company assets (hardware, maintenance contracts, and related assets) with ITSM software.
• Performs budgetary and financial functions in coordination with IT Solutions & Support management.
• Maintains an understanding of IT business strategies, needs and capabilities.
• Manage and operate the defined IT asset lifecycle (Acquisition - Decommission) and control processes to ensure IT Assets are correctly recorded and maintained.
• Establish and monitor quality controls within IT Asset Management purchasing process from order to fulfillment
• Oversee procurement processes, including tracking purchases, managing requisitions, processing invoices, and resolving issues to ensure alignment between AD, ITSM software, and E1 systems.
• Handle financial management tasks such as processing capital project requests, managing maintenance contracts and renewals, generating accounting reports, and conducting quarterly accrual reviews while maintaining budget alignment and resolving discrepancies.

What you need to have:

• BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field experience is required
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in IT
• Works well alone or collectively with a team
• Establish a positive working relationship with business management, internal and external customers, hourly production employees and IT staff
• Ability to resolve complex problems
• Excellent communication skills for presentations to upper management
• High organizational skills
