This role is intended for the Authentication Division.
How you will make a difference:
The IT Business Partner’s role is primarily to provide support to the various business functions and sustain growth in line with corporate strategy. The IT Business Partner will ensure that together with the IT end user support specialist, the team support all end user clients as well as manufacturing operations and ensure that departmental KPIs are reached and exceeded.
Key responsibilities:
- Responding to client issues and attend to operational meetings serving as escalation of IT related issues.
- Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading all PC Software, PC Operating Systems, PC Hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance.
- Support Operational Business Units in troubleshooting Hardware/Software issues on machinery.
- Maintain the wired and Wireless Network Infrastructure up till layer 2 and assist in troubleshooting at higher layers of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI).
- Support on SQL Databases and SQL Reporting Services.
- Support on Asset Management in concordance with ISO 27001 / 14298 standards.
- Troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone or via e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance where required.
- Carry out system administration, support for ‘local’ applications under the guidance of the Site IT Manager and in concordance with corporate policies.
- Conduct root cause analysis, identify and implement areas of improvement.
- Be responsible for or assist the Site IT Manager with Local IT Supplier management, cost management.
- Managing internal & external audits and IT disaster recovery.
- To understand the principles and comply with practices of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and Continuous Improvement.

What we are looking for:
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, IT, or related field and/or significant equivalent work experience.
- Certifications in Microsoft (MCSE, MCSD) Cisco (CCNA, CCNP, CCDA) or other equivalent and recognized qualifications.
- IT project management skills relevant certification will be a plus.
- Strong understanding of user environment management, including desktops/laptops, profile management, software delivery, etc.
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Office 365
- Knowledgeable on IT Infrastructure technologies like network attached storage, WAN acceleration devices, virtualization, and data warehouse.
- Strong knowledge of WiFi and Wired Network technologies and monitoring tools.
- Fluent with SQL Server, scripting and database applications.
- Exceptional customer-service orientation.
- Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment.
- Understanding of an organization’s goals and objectives.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.
Desirable
- 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Programming languages such as C# and Visual Studio.
- Knowledge of SAAS platforms
- Experience of managing Projects.
- Experience in Supplier / Cost Management.
- Exposure to PLC programming
