IT Capacity Planner, Sr. evaluates the organization's data processing and storage needs and develops long-term plans to meet business requirements. Implements policies for network storage system troubleshooting, updating and general maintenance. Being an IT Capacity Planner, Sr. documents problems and solutions and serves as the point of contact for network capacity related issues. Allocates storage space, plans for future projects or acquisitions, reviews hardware and software configurations and makes suggestions for appropriate storage or backup models. Additionally, IT Capacity Planner, Sr. may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. To be an IT Capacity Planner, Sr. typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all design, code, testing, implementation, and maintenance within a designated area of an application or Integration. They design small to medium applications and Integration components, develop, and implement code for custom cloud, packaged cloud apps, and/or on-prem technical platforms. This role will take direction from Lead Engineers for solution design, coding standards and guidelines. Senior Engineer will document technical design, system flow diagrams and Operational guides, code, test and resolve defects found in all test or agile phases for their area of responsibility within the application/Integration. To ensure success as a Senior engineer they should have a good working knowledge of programming languages, tools, and framework in their area of responsibility, the ability to learn modern technology quickly, and the ability to work in a team environment. A Senior engineer provides valuable support to the design team while continually improving their coding and design skills.
Primary Responsibility:Assisting the development manager with all aspects of software design and coding. 10%Attending and contributing to project development meetings. 10%Writing and maintaining code. Learning the codebase and improving your coding skills. 5 years of Salesforce with 2 Salesforce Field Service Lightning experience preferred. Experience serving as developer throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirement definition, detailed design, development, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery, and maintenance. Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Experience in development of distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications Experience developing in an agile environment Experienced in any modern language (or be able to quickly jump into anything new.) They should also have excellent communication skills, basic technical project management and architecture skills.Language Skills: Strong Verbal and written communication skillsTechnical Competencies: Strong Knowledge in coding languages relative to the technical area. Strong programming experience in performance tuning and testing. Knowledge of databases and operating systems. Good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software.Competencies: Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly. Detail-oriented. Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
