RESPONSIBILITIES: A client with Kforce is seeking an Analyst, IT Compliance and Governance to join their team. This role will be hybrid. The working hours will be 9am to 5pm.
Overview: Though this person will be working in the IT Compliance space, this is a heavily administrative and pretty entry level. Someone who has some corporate experience would be ideal, as they will be emailing executives, park guests and other team members and they should have the knowledge on how to email in a professional setting. Some understanding of IT Compliance and governance is helpful, as they will be working within deadlines to ensure compliance of state laws when it comes to guest privacy and information storing. This person will be using OneTrust to delete files, save guest information as needed, etc.
Responsibilities: * Acts as a subject matter expert for IT Compliance items; Assists with the administration and maintenance of policies and procedures for effective compliance management for all applicable IT related rules and regulations; Creates and monitors systems and management processes for effective compliance reporting and remediation; Manages remediation activities to ensure ongoing regulatory processes are followed * Collaborates with internal customers including HR, Security and Internal Audit, users, staff members, and IT colleagues to assist in the definition, development, and documentation of compliance related business requirements; Objectives; deliverables; And specifications for projects and activities
REQUIREMENTS: * Associate's degree or higher, Bachelor's degree preferred * 1-3 years of experience * Experience with hardware/software compliance lifecycle including regulations such as PCI, HIPAA, SOX etc.; ITIL Foundations preferred * IT Business Continuity planning experience preferred, especially IT Disaster Recovery planning * Working understanding of IT system platforms * Extensive process documenting experience is preferred, critical thinking skills are required * Knowledge and experience working with applicable data security, compliance and privacy practice law preferred * An IT or cyber security boot camp may be good to see on a resume but not required * Someone who wants to grow in the IT Compliance space but who won't get bored being on the admin side during the assignment would be a good fit * Do not need any sort of certifications - Any background would work for this role, as long as they are comfortable with admin tasks, keeping organized, are self-sufficient and have critical thinking skills * Candidates should be local (not further than 20-30 minutes from the office)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
