Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     Contract Manager is responsible for coordinating administration of customer and vendor contract terms and conditions across multiple areas to maximize contract value; responding to RFIs and RFPs; and driving operational excellence to achieve the company’s objectives.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute contracts to support the sales team
    • Develop, lead, and execute RFI and RFP proposals and negotiation strategies that resolve disputes, minimize potential losses and support company goals and objectives
    • Assure accuracy and appropriateness of contract text and attachments, including amendments and change orders
    • Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate
    • Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally
    • Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues

    KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS

    • Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
    • May contribute to the development of policies and procedures
    • Works on complex projects of large scope
    • Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
    • Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives
    • Completes work; independently receives general guidance on new projects
    • Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives
    • May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
    • Travel Requirements: Domestic and/or International, up to <10%

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum years of work experience:5 years in contract administration role or a related field
    • Minimum level of education or education/experience:Bachelors or equivalent work experience as a paralegal or contracts administrator
