Job Title: IT Help Desk Specialist

Position Summary
Supports the CIO with the general IT Department activities related to the installation and maintenance of internal communications and information systems and related equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software for end-users, including desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Assist with the rollout of new hardware, software, and operating system upgrades, including testing, training, and communication with end-users.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve technical issues and implement process improvements, including participation in team meetings and other initiatives.
- Maintain a cooperative manner with other employees.
- Audit software and hardware devices for warranty, security, and patching compliance.
- Assist with security monitoring to derive film recording when requested.
- Assist with Application / User provisioning
- Ability to effectively work in a team-oriented, fast paced environment.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.

- Familiar with a range of software and hardware
- IT Help Desk Experience / User Support
Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years previous related experience is required.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- A current valid NM Driver’s License and a clean driving record is required.
- Employee must be insurable through the MVD
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, bend, stoop, push, pull. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee works indoors in an office setting.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
