Do you consider yourself a Technical Expert? Konnect General Stores is hiring a Retail IT Support Specialist who can perform analytical, technical, and administrative work in the planning, installation and support of new and existing systems and store retail devices.
The Retail IT Support Specialist will work with multiple third-party vendors to implement store networking tasks, store system support and maintenance and provide general assistance with store productivity as it relates to the various systems in place. The Retail IT Support Specialist will also be a primary contact for daily operational support of the various store systems with both our vendors and users.
Key Functions:
- Diagnose and resolve problems in response to customer reported incidents.
- Confers with end users to determine types of hardware and software required.
- Installs new hardware and software and maintains existing components.
- Trains end users in the use of equipment and software.
- Performs general maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues with store/user devices and peripheral equipment located throughout the stores.
- Prepares progress reports for all work performed.
- Evaluates products for compatibility, expandability, and ease of use and support.
- Recommends to management the support or nonsupport of evaluated products.
- Duties are performed at various levels within the defined title.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in information technology / computer science or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant support experience
- IT Certification a plus
Work Setting:
In-Person, with option for hybrid options after 90-day training period

Willingness to travel:
25% (Preferred)
