Peerless’ ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the construction/commercial glazing industry. Experience with managing projects throughout the project release and manufacturing process involving glass/glazing products, windows, curtain wall, storefront, entrances, and doors. Candidate must be able to read and interpret shop drawings, product detail pages, blueprints and AutoCad files with proficiency. The ability to navigate Microsoft programs is a necessary requirement.
Working under general direction, performs work independently and as part of the Inside Sales Team, including the Territory Team which includes Territory Sales Representative, Project Coordinator, and Sales Coordinator.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Ensuring projects presented for production are in accordance with the strategic parameters of Peerless Products.
- Proficiently handling projects once they become Promised Job through the final Customer Service contact for the project.
- Responsible for monitoring job costs and ensuring the formal project definition is accurate and strategically beneficial for the company.
- Collaborate with assigned territory Sales Rep(s), and Sales Coordinator(s) to provide and manage status of all projects or promised jobs within a given territory.
- Work with the Sales Representatives and/or customer to be their secondary point of contact for all business relating to Peerless Products, Inc., and primary contact for all projects being produced.
- Candidate must have strong estimating /analytical skills.
- Able to analyze architectural details and shop drawings, make material takeoffs, obtain quotes from suppliers, review and confirm accuracy of orders, interpret specifications and provide accurate detailed bids and proposals.
