Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Specialist to join our Web and Software Engineering Team. The QA Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our web and software solutions through comprehensive testing strategies. This role involves collaborating with developers, project managers, product teams, and clients to identify and resolve issues, ensuring our products meet high standards of quality and user experience.

Job Expectations

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for web and software applications to identify software problems and their causes.

• Work closely with the development team to understand product specifications and to develop corresponding test strategies.

• Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, system, integration, performance, and regression testing.

• Document, track, and report defects and issues identified during testing, providing detailed information for replication and resolution.

• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.

• Review and analyze system specifications to ensure testability and compatibility with existing systems.

• Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand user needs and to ensure quality standards are met before product releases.

• Coordinate testing with product teams to ensure operational readiness.

• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies to improve testing efficiency and product quality.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in QA testing for web and software applications.

• Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools and techniques.

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions to stakeholders.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
