IT Quality Assurance Analyst jobs in Texas

Description

Duties and responsibilities

Conduct testing on software applications or products to identify and report defects or issues.
Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on project requirements.
Collaborate with development teams to understand product functionality and requirements.
Document test results and communicate findings.
Participate in the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance product quality.
Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
Perform testing to ensure that defects are fixed and new functionality does not adversely affect existing features.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong knowledge of GPS, Cell, Wi-fi and tracking technologies.
Familiarity with mobile phone/devices (and apps) and their Operating Systems (Android and IoS)
Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role in multi-platform applications preferably with GPS/map tracking functions.
Familiarity with Security and Privacy communication protocols
Proven experience in manual and automated testing. Creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication, documentation capabilities and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
