Job Summary
Under the direction of the Software Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for executing test plans to ensure the quality of various pieces of software, as well as create well documented work items for any issues found during testing. The Quality Assurance Analyst will have strong technical skills, business acumen, and effectively communicate across the organization. Responsible for exemplifying teamwork, collaboration and living the Company values, culture, policy, and procedures.
Essential Job Functions:
Review requirement specification documents and develop Test plans/Test cases
Communicate effectively with the QA team and other departments
Follow established SDLC processes
Adhere to quality standards when testing and analyzing
Recognize and notify Team of potential issues or oversites with functional or technical behavior
Troubleshoot escalated production issues
Develop and execute test cases
Document testing outcomes, failure reasons, discussions, decisions made for historical tracking purposes
Maintain professionalism, and integrity to ourselves, co-workers, and customers
Responsibilities / Duties / Tasks:
Apply technical knowledge, analysis skills and judgment to identify issues, their root cause and opportunities for innovation and automation
Enters bugs within the defect tracking system
Verifies bug solutions as they are completed
Conduct exploratory testing to evaluate robustness and functionality of products
Comply with project plans and industry standards
Ensure software is updated with latest features

Job Qualifications / Skill Requirements:
Experience with test case repository tools
Knowledge of QA methodology working in an Agile environment
Quality Assurance/Testing experience/Test Management/Test Plan Creation/Test Lifecycle
Knowledge of general software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Work independently and in team environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
