We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for conducting thorough testing, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with the development team to resolve issues. -Conduct comprehensive testing of software applications to ensure functionality, performance, and adherence to specifications
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform various types of testing including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results and troubleshoot issues
- Participate in code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards
- Provide feedback on software usability and suggest improvements
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to quality assurance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Ant, Jenkins, or Visual Studio
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services testing
- Solid understanding of software troubleshooting techniques
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or NUnit
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C or Java
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
- Familiarity with integrated development environments (IDEs) like Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA
