IT Quality Assurance Director is responsible for planning and directing the policies, programs, and initiatives used to monitor and measure the overall quality of IT services, systems, and software. Ensures that tracking systems capture useful operational metrics for use in reducing defects, improving service, and optimizing the implementation process. Being an IT Quality Assurance Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a top management. The IT Quality Assurance Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Purpose:
Coordinate quality activities throughout the facility. Provide knowledge and experience to audit, maintain, and train the ISO 9001 and SQF systems.
Ensure the quality manual is followed by maintaining and improving plant quality systems and methods.
Maintain ISO 9001 and SQF certifications & ensure the Quality Manual is followed
Perform audits as lead auditorTrain auditors and review their auditsHACCP / SQF Practitioner backupPromote food safety and food defense in the plantEnsure GMPs are followedEnsure the compliance calendar is followedRepresent the customer and quality in the plantWork with plant personnel to ensure quality control plans and quality standard are followedWork with plant personnel to solve quality problems and concernsEnsure timely root cause and corrective action responses to the customer with quality or food safety issues and concernsRepresent quality during the qualification of new molds and equipmentTrain plant personnel regarding quality topics and proceduresBe the quality department point of contact for sample requests
