You will be responsible for conducting thorough testing, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with the development team to resolve issues. -Conduct comprehensive testing of software applications to ensure functionality, performance, and adherence to specifications
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform various types of testing including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results and troubleshoot issues
- Participate in code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards
- Provide feedback on software usability and suggest improvements
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to quality assurance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Ant, Jenkins, or Visual Studio
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services testing
- Solid understanding of software troubleshooting techniques
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or NUnit
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C or Java
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
- Familiarity with integrated development environments (IDEs) like Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA
