IT Quality Assurance Process Consultant develops quality assurance, compliance, and implementation plans for individual IT functions that support the organization's overall service and software quality standards. Advises function leaders on best practices for the deployment of QA methodologies and processes. Being an IT Quality Assurance Process Consultant designs and incorporates plans for each function that drive quality service and product deliverables. Establishes a performance monitoring program and designs metrics that can be used to identify quality issues, analyze problems, and develop quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, IT Quality Assurance Process Consultant trains staff on quality concepts, objectives, tools, and processes. Requires a bachelor's degree. And typically reports to a director or head of a department. The IT Quality Assurance Process Consultant works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Completion of Armed Forces Logs and Records or other civilian schools with equivalent curriculum or five (5) years of on-the-job training and / or experience required.
Must have three (3) years of general experience in maintaining aircraft logbooks / aeronautical equipment service records and associated logs.
Must be able to meet any Government / Company licensing / qualification requirements for the position.

Physical Demands :
This classification activity is usually accomplished in an office environment and as such requires the scope of physical movements and postures normally associated with office activities.

Work Environment :
The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, to an environment where inclement weather may subject individuals to severe changes of temperature, wind, rain, etc.
