IT Quality Assurance Process Consultant develops quality assurance, compliance, and implementation plans for individual IT functions that support the organization's overall service and software quality standards. Advises function leaders on best practices for the deployment of QA methodologies and processes. Being an IT Quality Assurance Process Consultant designs and incorporates plans for each function that drive quality service and product deliverables. Establishes a performance monitoring program and designs metrics that can be used to identify quality issues, analyze problems, and develop quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, IT Quality Assurance Process Consultant trains staff on quality concepts, objectives, tools, and processes. Requires a bachelor's degree. And typically reports to a director or head of a department. The IT Quality Assurance Process Consultant works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for verification of units placed on project work by both internal and external OSP placing crews.
• Identify construction installations that do not meet Wire 3 specifications
• Review drawings and finalize as-builts for final records
• Communicate project risks to the Construction Manager as they arise.
• Assists in implementing project/program plans as assigned
•Work directly with Field Supervisors on areas of completion and inspection ready segments of construction
• Provides documentation, reports, and information to Regional Management as directed.
• Utilizes the established company tracking methods and systems to report crew productivity for reporting weekly job progress on the work.
• Requires extensive walking, bending, and lifting of 50 lbs.
• Computer skills with Excel and Word are required.
