Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team that supports clinical software applications within the healthcare sector. This fully remote contract position allows for the perfect balance of professional engagement and personal flexibility. The initial contract is structured for one year, with a potential for extension based on performance and project needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary IT support contact for several vended software applications, ensuring effective administration and support in a clinical environment.
- Promptly troubleshoot and resolve incident tickets, maintaining a high level of customer service and technical proficiency.
- Participate in on-call duty, providing necessary after-hours support approximately once every nine weeks.
- Generate and uphold comprehensive technical documentation for both new and existing applications.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new software applications, collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal teams, while creating architecture diagrams for systems that require review from relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in the deployment of new software applications (both SaaS and On-Prem), covering all phases from planning and analysis to execution.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in supporting and administering third-party software applications in a healthcare context.
- Strong technical troubleshooting abilities, with a focus on swift issue resolution in collaboration with clinical teams, including administrative, nursing, and consulting personnel.
- Excellent skills in crafting clear and concise technical documentation and procedural guidelines.
- Experience working directly with software vendors and implementation teams, in addition to managing technical support inquiries.
- Demonstrated capability to juggle multiple projects effectively, balancing responsibilities related to software implementation, documentation, and ongoing support.
- A proactive attitude toward learning new technologies and concepts, coupled with the initiative to ask questions and resolve issues independently.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in a similar role within the healthcare industry is essential.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
