IT Support Analyst jobs in New Haven, CT

For our direct client, a leading high-tech manufacturing company, we seek an experienced IT Business Analyst with manufacturing and ERP experience, to join the growing IT team. The company is embarking on systems integrations and this position will play a key role in defining and implementing these projects. Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and evaluation of application functionality; provide recommendations to increase utilization of standard application functionality to improve business processes and capabilities
• Provide comprehensive application functionality, configuration, and support expertise for application software solutions
• Collaborate with business users, technical experts and software vendors on the solution requirements, design, configuration, functionality gap resolution, implementation, support, maintenance, and enhancement of the applications.
• Create requirements and specifications for business solutions
• Conduct business analysis and research to identify key metrics and opportunities for improvement
• Develop processes and procedures to ensure business solutions meet strategic goals
• Consult with key stakeholders to determine business objectives and success factors
• Write and document business requirements, functional requirements, and design specifications
• Continuously improve existing business processes and strive to develop new ones to improve efficiency

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ERP Business Analyst within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and their application in manufacturing environments.
• Specific experience which would be very helpful in this role:

1. Experience with integration of ERP to MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
2. Experience with Infor LN ERP / BAAN (Manufacturing & Supply Chain)
3. Experience with Aegis Factory Logix MES
4. Experience in electronics manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in business process modeling, requirements gathering, and gap analysis.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certification is a plus.
