Position Title: Junior IT Functional Analyst
Location: Fort Mill, SC
As a Junior IT Functional Analyst, you are responsible for supporting and enhancing Domtar Pulp, Paper, and Packaging manufacturing execution and related systems to meet Domtar’s business processes and requirements. This position reports to the IT Manager of the Mill Execution Systems team.
Job Responsibilities:
Research and resolve end-user problems and requests in multiple applications for corporate office and production facilities across the US and Canada.

Gather and document business requirements and functional specifications in collaboration with senior team members and other IT teams.
- Perform upgrades, design, and configure enhancements, perform testing for system changes, deliver training, as well as provide general technical level 1 and 2 support for the applications within the team’s responsibility.

Look for and offer opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost and simplify existing solutions.

Participate in integration and standardization projects to implement and support common solutions that further established IT and business strategies.

Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation schedule to provide support.

Ability and willingness to travel to manufacturing facilities is essential. Travel is typically less than 10% but may be more initially and during projects.

Ability to learn needed technical skills.

Working knowledge of SQL commands, and Linux scripting is a plus.

- Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field of study or equivalent experience
