Join our Information & Technology team in Minneapolis (Bloomington, MN) as a dedicated Systems Support Specialist. Responsibilities
- Utilize ITIL-based processes to efficiently handle and resolve incoming incidents, requests, and demands.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and implement solutions with minimal escalation to the system admin support team.
- Provide user training on various applications and office products.
- Perform remote system repairs using remote tools.
- Follow up with users, provide feedback, and ensure issues are resolved.
- Maintain and update records, knowledge base articles, and tracking databases.
- Use your expertise to improve products or services and meet departmental performance goals.
- Take ownership of troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, identifying trends and root causes.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce-related tickets.
- Properly escalate unresolved issues to the IT Service Desk Team Lead.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- An associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in a desktop support environment (preferred).
- Experience supporting Salesforce (preferred).
- Basic familiarity with Office 365 applications, including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and Groups (preferred).
- Strong background in customer service (required).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Professional, including Microsoft Teams.
- Understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts.
- Proficiency in remote support for office hardware.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Capability to communicate effectively via video conferencing and telephone (Teams, Zoom, etc.).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills that match the level of responsibility.
- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
- Availability to work an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, between 10:30 am - 7:00 pm Central Time, with occasional overtime during peak seasons.
- Commitment to working onsite in Bloomington, MN, at least 4 business days a week.
