IT Vendor Management Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration of technology vendor relationships and serves as the organization's point of contact to ensure smooth performance of operations. Assists vendor selection by reviewing and evaluating requests for proposals and contracts. Being an IT Vendor Management Analyst monitors compliance with service level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, and expectations are met. Develops dashboards, reports, and presentations to track vendor performance. Additionally, IT Vendor Management Analyst proactively identifies areas where performance is at risk and collaborates with vendors to establish service quality mitigation strategies. Appropriately escalates vendor product and service issues. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The IT Vendor Management Analyst work is closely managed.     Your Role At Baxter

    Provide moderate support, with general supervision, in one or more of the following technical areas: desktop, telecom, networks, servers, messaging, LAN, security, and programming. This includes monitoring, testing, and deploying these environments as well as supporting end users. Develop understanding of the computer programming process in both development and maintenance situations and assume an increasingly active role in the area of computer systems design. Support user client inquiries and problems and address operational and program discrepancies.

    Own assigned tasks, resolve routine problems. Requires general direction, provides no direction to others and has some knowledge of operating environments.

    • Provide support for technical area of expertise
    • Provide 24 hour on call support as required
    • Participate on project teams as needed
    • Proactively monitor call queues and prioritize daily activities
    • Provide routine support on hardware and software problems
    • Provide support for technical area of support
    • Install, test, and maintain software and hardware components
    • Document system/environment changes
    • Develop and maintain written documentation for all system tasks including validation documentation if required
    • Monitor system activities

    What You'll Bring

    • 1 years of relevant technical experience
    • Ability to work on projects, adhere to timelines, and communicate regular updates
    • Ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams
    • Ability to work independently, under general supervision and apply good problem-solving techniques
    • Knowledge of Hardware, internals, peripherals, and software on platforms supported
    • Familiarity with validated or quality systems
    • Strong customer facing, interpersonal, and communication skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer related field preferred
    • Technical certifications preferred
    • SQL knowledge a plus

    Work Environment

    • In a Class II Controlled Environment which includes the following dress/gowning requirements: safety glasses or goggles, ear plugs, hairnet, beard cover, gown, shoe covers and gloves (additional PPE required when cleaning)
    • Must have the ability to analyze data and possess strong decision making skills
    • Intermittent exposure to elevated levels of noise
    • Involves working around moving equipment parts and machinery occasionally

    We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $52,800 to $132,000. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
