Education/Training: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is required. Self-motivated, ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing priorities. General Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Applications Services Manager, the IT Applications Data Analyst will work closely with department staff, technical team members, project managers, business users, and IT staff to deliver reports and data analytics for The Dime Bank.
Essential Duties
a. As part of the Analytics team and as assigned, assist with the development, coordination, implementation, monitoring and training for analytics tools and reporting projects throughout the bank.
b. Perform application configuration and maintenance for all data analytics platforms and repositories.
c. Support business line by investigating data-related inquiries and recommend, facilitate, and implement data transformation and or reporting solutions.
d. Provide administrative services including drafting Standard Operating Procedures, managing the Help Desk Ticket system, providing phone and electronic ticket support to end users, as well as occasionally field calls on evenings and weekends.
e. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data source configurations, processes, and procedures, and a manifest of all corporate-approved reporting.
f. Complete vendor issue tracking for all data analytics platforms and repositories.
2. Departmental Policy and Procedure Administrative Responsibilities:
a. Coordinates with Technology team leaders to gather project details as assigned, define deliverables and timelines, and maintains a tracking system for management reports.
b. As assigned, develop, evaluate and manage IT policies and procedures documentation, coordinates with process owners to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness, as well as expedites the documentation approval process through IT senior management.
c. Maintains detailed records and audit trails of approvals for auditing purposes.
3. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.
4. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Reg CC, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.; ensures that the department and all personnel adhere to the same.
5. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate Bank personnel.
6. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other Bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
7. Assists the immediate supervisor with various administrative tasks to support department operations, as directed; may also be assigned special projects.
