IT Vendor Management Analyst jobs in Springfield, IL

This position is responsible for developing, testing, and documenting various technical solutions for the bank. The candidate will work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver high-quality results. The candidate should have a strong background in database development, including design, optimization, and integrity. The candidate should also be able to apply programming logic and data analysis skills to solve complex problems and enhance existing systems. The candidate should be able to communicate effectively with senior management and present innovative ideas and solutions.

Primary Accountabilities:

1. Gather requirements from non-technical members of the staff and turn those into a data driven plan to improve the organization.
2. Prepare deliverables and be able to professionally present them to executive members of the staff.
3. Develop plans for how technology and information can modernize and improve current processes throughout the organization.
4. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is strongly preferred.

Experience:

Candidate without a Bachelor’s degree must have 5 years of relevant work experience in information technology using the knowledge and skills listed.

Required Knowledge/Skills:

• ETL knowledge and experience, extracting data from package software and services, and transforming it for loading into other systems and to generate reports utilizing data from multiple sources.
• Ability to leverage Microsoft Application Development stack including Visual Studio, .Net, C#, Visual Basic, SQL Server Management Studio, Windows Server and PowerShell.
• Advanced Excel knowledge, both data analysis and building Excel reports from C#
• Experience installing, configuring, and managing package software & services including working with vendors on problems, customizations, and new feature requests.
• Experience supporting Banking, CRM, Investments, Insurance, and Data Visualization Applications and Reporting systems.
• High level of expertise of SQL databases, database definition and manipulation languages, data integrity and SQL Server admin knowledge/experience.
• Needs to be capable of taking a project from start to completion, requirements capture, system analysis, coding and/or package software configuration, testing, and implementation.
• Ability to train users on new systems and processes either 1 one 1 or in small groups.
• Comfortable working via on-line meetings regularly and utilizing remote access tools as needed.
• Ability to work with database reporting systems including IBM Cognos and SQL Server Reporting Services
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, data integrity, accuracy, and security.
• Knowledge of Power BI a plus.
• Knowledge of agile methods of project management and development a plus.
