Janitorial Graveyard Manager

We are looking to hire an efficient Janitorial Supervisor to supervise the work activities performed by our janitorial staff. If you like a challenge and looking to grow this is the job for you.The Janitorial Manager responsibilities will include but are not limited to dispatching staff to work areas, monitoring staff attendance, reporting absences, conducting staff performance reviews, and be able to work alongside staff to ensure successful completion of all areas. You will also be able to make recommendations to management.

To be successful as a Janitorial Manager, you should demonstrate sound knowledge of various cleaning methods and excellent communication skills. Ultimately, an outstanding Janitorial Manager will display effective leadership skills to ensure the timely completion of staffs’ janitorial duties and work alongside with the onsite management team.

Janitorial Graveyard Manager Responsibilities:

• Assigning janitorial duties to staff and regularly inspecting their work to ensure that established standards are met.
• Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to janitorial staff as needed.
• Taking inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment and informing management when supplies are depleted
• Providing training and guidance to janitorial staff
• Motivate and resolve conflicts between janitorial staff in an efficient and timely manner
• Submit daily reports to management regarding employee issues, site issues, and supply shortages
• Attending meetings and in-service training sessions as required
• Be able to provide hands on training to staff
• Provide assistance to staff including but not limited to special cleaning projects or last minute client requests
• Performing all janitorial duties necessary in instances of staff shortages
• Respond to client complaints and requests
• Ensure staff follows all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
• Ensure staff compliance with company policies

Janitorial Supervisor Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Janitorial experience working as a Janitorial Supervisor 5years MINIMUM!
• Experience working back of the house
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, Adobe, Email
• Working knowledge of various cleaning methods
• The ability to lift heavy equipment
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and team management skills
• Effective communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends

Schedule:

• Graveyard
• 10:00PM to 7:30AM
• Weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
