MSG capabilities include:

• Cybersecurity: Maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and availability – MSG’s full-spectrum cybersecurity capabilities include security auditing, risk management assessment and hardening, and system-level control validation for all DoD authorization processes (e.g., RMF).
• Technical Operations: MSG delivers C5ISR systems and associated worldwide field support operations, maintenance, training, and logistics. Cleared and qualified Field Service Representatives enable MSG to configure, supply, and support multiple C5ISR systems. Full life cycle logistics support from our Charleston and National Capital Region depot-level facilities enables global operations.
• Data Science: Open architecture, high-performance AI/ML framework development. Multi-model knowledge graph database development. Statistical and mathematical analysis. Model development, training, evaluation, and execution
• Systems and Platform Engineering Services: System and Design Engineering support to multiple platforms.  Holistic view systems architecture and design with experience in MBSE, systems analysis, system dynamics, reliability design, optimization, life cycle management, etc.

MSG is actively seeking a Software Developer 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works in an Agile environment with a dynamic group of software developers
• Works in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environment
• Develops software primarily in Java; knowledge of Python, JavaScript, and C/C is a plus
• Assist in the development of documentation, such as Test Readiness Reviews (TRR's), Test Plans, and Test Reports.
• Designs, improves, and manages a RDBMS
• Conducts software code reviews, develops unit tests, and develops functional tests

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Three (3) years of task specific project Software Development experience, to include: Design, Development, Test and Evaluation, Network Protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX and Windows based operating system
• Experience working within an IDE for software development
• Active/eligible DOD TS/SCI Clearance

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

• Familiar with (JIRA, JAMA). Experience with VMWare, Linux, Active Directory, and Host Based Security System (HBSS) is a plus
• Familiar with IntelliJ
• Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) (Previously known as Certified Software Engineering Professional (CSEP))
• Prior Marine Corps system experience with an emphasis on SIGINT systems experience using JAVA, Python, Shell scripting experience
• Redhat experience

HOURS AND PAY

Our salary is commensurate with experience, certifications, education & location.
