We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wire Harness Buildboard Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry with the ability to construct and assemble build boards for wire harness assembly, testing and development. As a Wire Harness Buildboard Builder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and reliability of wire harnesses used in various applications.

$15 - $17 hourly

• Buildboard Construction: Construct and assemble build boards used for testing and validating wire harnesses. This involves interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and layouts to create accurate build board structures that accommodate various wire harness configurations
• Carpentry Skills: Utilize carpentry techniques and tools to cut, shape, and assemble wooden and metal components for the build boards. Ensure precision in measurements and alignments to maintain the integrity of the billboard
• Electrical Integration: Collaborate with the Product Development team to integrate connectors, sockets, and terminals into the build boards according to specifications. Ensure proper alignment and connectivity for accurate wire harness testing
• Wire Routing: Create pathways and mounting points on the build boards for routing wire harnesses, ensuring efficient organization and ease of access during testing and troubleshooting
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of build board designs, modifications, and assembly processes. Update documentation as needed to reflect changes and improvements

• Proven experience in carpentry and woodworking, with strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment
• Comfortable working in a workshop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
