ResourceMFG is now hiring a Junior Quality Inspector for a client at the Port of Catoosa – 3 month contract position!

Pay: $22 and up depending on experience

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 am-5 pm, O/T on Saturday as needed

JOB DUTIES

• Adhere to all safety policies and requirements, actively ensuring a safe work environment by addressing unsafe behaviors and conditions.
• Conduct thorough inspections throughout the fabrication process, including the basic unit structure inspection, component performance, material specifications, and final product quality, to ensure compliance with customer and company standards or specifications. 
• Verify that all in-process inspection checkpoints are met and that products are properly identified for final inspection acceptance.
• Prepare Nonconformity Reports for any detected production issues, ensuring corrective actions meet company and customer approval or standards.
• Oversee hydrostatic tests to identify leaks and assess component performance.
• Inspect subcontractor work for adherence to company standards in construction, painting, and assembly processes in accordance with engineering requirements.
• Inspect incoming materials for compliance with company specifications, including damage assessment, size verification, and documentation review. 

• Able to use hand measurement tools such as Calipers, Tri-mic, scale, etc.
• Able to create and generate templates of reports.
• Experience (Lead) in 8D RCA/RCCA process.
• Experience in FAI process.
• High school diploma.
• 2-5 years of experience in QA/QC role is required.
• Certification in Dye Penetrant Testing preferred.
• Hold a current active AWS Certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
