Eliot is in search of a Program Director with 5 years experience working with youthful offenders. Our ideal candidate will be committed to the principles of Wraparound and practice within a Family Driven and Youth guided framework that embraces Family Voice and Choice.
Eliot’s juvenile justice programming includes a residential network for youth ages 13 to 21 who are court involved and need placement while awaiting return to court, assessment or longer term treatment. These highly structured, self-contained programs offer a comprehensive intervention for juvenile offenders.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee every facet of the program’s operation including educational, clinical, medical and residential according to the programs contract, DYS, DMH, DEEC and Eliot’s policies and procedures.
- Commit to the principles of Wraparound and practice within a Family Driven and Youth guided framework that embraces Family Voice and Choice.
- Become trained in The Building Bridges, Trauma Informed Care and ARC (Attachment, Self Regulation and Competency) and use these models within all aspects of the work.
- Provide linkages to ongoing community treatment and support services, ranging from traditional services such as medication and individual therapy to less traditional services such as mentors, tutoring and transportation.
- Oversee fiscal management including petty cash and the program’s annual budget.
- Conduct, ensure and monitor supervision, evaluation and professional development of staff.
- Facilitate and attend administrative, staff, shift change, treatment, agency, department and
- divisional meetings.
- Serve as a member of the on-call rotation.
- Hire, counsel, discipline and discharge staff in assigned departments subject to the approval of the Vice President of Human Resources
Schedule: Monday through Friday 9-5pm

Education
Preferred- Bachelors or better in Criminal Justice
