Keyboard Instrument Repairer and Tuner inspects, repairs, and rebuilds instruments. Tunes and plays instrument to determine necessary adjustments. Being a Keyboard Instrument Repairer and Tuner may require a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Keyboard Instrument Repairer and Tuner relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Reports to the Manager of CSR and is responsible for the care, preparation, and maintenance of instruments, equipment, inventory and supplies in CSR and Clean Room located in OR. Cleans, decontaminates, identifies, inspects and assembles instrumentation for use in a sterile procedure. Sterilizes items and completes quality control checks as required. Ensures proper inventory levels. Assembles Surgical Case Carts. Tracks loaner instrumentation as needed.
