Keyboard Instrument Repairer and Tuner jobs in Gary, IN

POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

Reports to the Manager of CSR and is responsible for the care, preparation, and maintenance of instruments, equipment, inventory and supplies in CSR and Clean Room located in OR. Cleans, decontaminates, identifies, inspects and assembles instrumentation for use in a sterile procedure. Sterilizes items and completes quality control checks as required. Ensures proper inventory levels. Assembles Surgical Case Carts. Tracks loaner instrumentation as needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess effective reading and communication skills.
• Must be comfortable using a desktop computer.
• Training for this position is provided on the job.
• Certification from an accredited Central Service Technician Program is required within two (2) years of hire.
  • Failure to obtain your certification within this two (2) year period of employment will result in termination.
