We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for culinary excellence. As a Kitchen Leader, you will oversee kitchen operations, manage labor, navigate fluctuations, and ensure that food quality and safety standards are consistently met. This role is essential in creating a positive dining experience for our guests while fostering a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage kitchen staff, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Priotritize efficiency in getting quality food out of the kitchen in a timely manner. Touch every plate in peak hours.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques, food handling, efficiency, and safety practices.
• Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and clientele preferences.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimize waste.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained in good working condition.
• Assist in off site events as required, ensuring timely delivery of quality food service.
• Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.

Requirements

• Proven experience in restaurant management or kitchen leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food handling practices.
• Experience in hospitality or culinary environments is preferred.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
