• The Labor Attorney will report to the Director of Labor Relations.• Represent the organization as an advocate in its commitment to consistent and fair labor and employment practices.• Develop, implement and maintain Collective Bargaining Agreements, MOAs and Settlements.• Investigate and support investigations conducted by other departments regarding CBA violations, discipline and other allegations.• Identify proactive opportunities for increasing awareness, knowledge, and education of management regarding the correct application of collectively bargained language.• Advise the Company of regulatory and industry trends.• Coordinate with the Legal Department to ensure CBA compliance.• Stay current on Arbitration and Settlement trends within the applicable internationals and beyond.• Perform ongoing legal research on a variety of labor and employment law issues.• Prepare and conduct Unemployment Hearings at the Appeal and Commission levels.• Prepare Arbitration Cases for presentation and interact with outside counsel.• Hear and respond to grievances.• Provide support as needed throughout HR organization on issues related to employment, labor and employment law.
