    Job Overview:

    The Public Relations Manager for Metal Fab Guys will play a critical role in developing and executing public relations strategies to promote the company's brand, products, and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for storytelling.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive coverage and press opportunities for the company. Pitch story ideas, press releases, and expert commentary to relevant media contacts.
    • Content Creation: Develop compelling content for press releases, blog posts, articles, case studies, and other written materials that showcase the company's expertise, achievements, and thought leadership in the metal manufacturing industry.
    • Social Media Management: Manage the company's social media channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, to engage with followers, share relevant content, and amplify the company's brand message. Monitor social media trends and respond to comments and inquiries in a timely manner.
    • Event Planning: Plan and coordinate events such as product launches, industry conferences, trade shows, and press briefings to generate buzz and enhance the company's presence in the metal manufacturing community. Manage logistics, invitations, and on-site coordination for successful events.
    • Brand Building: Develop and implement strategies to strengthen the company's brand identity and reputation in the marketplace. Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels and materials.
    • Market Research: Conduct research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market opportunities. Use insights to inform PR strategies and messaging to effectively reach target audiences.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
    • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content for various audiences and platforms.
    • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts.
    • Proven track record of securing media coverage and building relationships with journalists and influencers.
    • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to PR opportunities and challenges.
    • Knowledge of metal manufacturing processes, technologies, and industry trends (preferred but not required).
