Summary :
The Guest Relations Specialist I assumes a critical role at AR Gould as the first point of contact with patients, visitors, and family within the organization. They are responsible for assisting visitors, patients, and families with wayfinding, problem solving, and connecting with the correct people within our complex organization. The Guest Relations Specialist I must be friendly and be able to deal with a variety of customer personalities in a positive, kind, and compassionate manner. Additionally, the Specialist will assist with Gift Shop activities, including sales, re-stocking, inventory management, and customer service. The Guest Relations Specialist I works independently and in collaboration with the Manager, Guest Relations to carry out the essential duties of the role.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the flow of outpatients through the screening (as applicable)and entrance process.
- Assists patients with needs, i.e., direction, wheelchair assist and escorting.
- Coordinates wheelchair availability and distribution.
- Coordinates volunteer task daily activities.
- Assists Manager, Guest Relations, and Guest Relations Specialist II with departmental new employee orientation as needed.
- Completes all daily Gift Shop sales, cash ups, and prepares deposits.
- Assists the Manager, Guest Relations with clerical duties as assigned.
- Assists with Gift shop inventory
- Attends trainings as assigned
