Laboratory Coordinator

Full-Time, Days

Job Description :

• Responsible for supervising the activities including planning, coordinating, scheduling, disciplining, evaluating and monitoring within the assigned area.
• Supervises staff to ensure the smooth flow of operations and compliance with hospital and department policies, procedures, and other regulatory agencies.
• Provides technical guidance and assistance to the staff.

Requirements :

• Certified in clinical laboratory science by recognized certifying agencies.
• Must have at least 1 year experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in the designated discipline, and be qualified under CLIA regulations to function as a General or Technical Supervisor.
• General supervisory experience is preferred.
• Membership in a professional organization is highly desirable but not mandatory.
