Position: Laboratory Technician

Location:Bay Minette, AL

The QCQA role encompasses testing materials to ensure compliance and overseeing reporting duties for Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) tasks. Additionally, the QCQA is responsible for submitting daily reporting to accounting, tracking inventory, non-inventory, and production reporting. The selected candidate will conduct timely testing using specified methods, providing management with updated daily test results and electronic reports. While prior experience is not necessary, on-the-job training will be provided over a comprehensive 6-month period. The candidate selected for this role will be situated within the Operations Department and will report directly to the Lead of the Blacklidge Advancement Center.

Skills/Competency:

• Excellent reading comprehension and writing skills are essential.
• Above-average Basic Math skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• The ability to multitask and stay focused on tasks in a deadline-driven environment is vital.

• Displaying effective time management and organizational skills is crucial. • Must demonstrate ownership and accountability for one's work.

Requirements:

• Current Driver’s License required
• Preferred: Some College Education
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, and Excel is necessary.
• Availability for overtime work as needed, sometimes with short notice, is essential.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time is required.
