This position is PRN, working part time, picking up hours / shifts as needed!!

Millennium Physician Group is seeking to hire a part-time Courier to join the team in the Southwest Florida area. We are looking for a new team member who is positive, energetic, well-organized, has the ability to multi-task, and think outside of the box.

We want someone who supports our top initiative of ensuring an excellent patient experience!

The staff courier uses company provided vehicles to transfer and distribute various items to all offices. Items being transported may include but are not limited to : interdepartmental mail, boxes of items, file charts, film jackets, appropriately packaged and prepared lab specimens.

S / he may pull or file charts or jackets from secured storage upon request. S / he follows a set route and maintains time schedule.

S / he keeps driver's license in good standing and follows all traffic laws including use of seatbelt. S / he keeps vehicle clean and neat.

S / he may be asked to break normal routine occasionally for special request or emergency transports. S / he may not allow anyone to ride along in the vehicle without express consent of management.

S / he uses company gas card to provide gas for vehicles, notifies manager when vehicle is due for routine maintenance or if any mechanical issues develop during transportation.

All other duties as assigned. Must have a clean drivers license.

• Follows route as set and keeps on time
• Does not lose paperwork / items
• No mis-deliveries
• Keeps vehicle neat and clean
• No traffic tickets / issues with Driver's license
• Notifies manager when vehicle needs maintenance
• Flexible, breaks schedule on short notice when needed
