Laboratory Courier jobs in Ogden, UT
Laboratory Courier picks up and delivers medical specimens and packages for a laboratory. Ensures timely, safe, and accurate delivery. Being a Laboratory Courier is responsible for maintenance and care of vehicle. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Laboratory Courier must be licensed to operate a vehicle. Licensing requirements depend on the state. Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Laboratory Courier may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Location : Layton
Hours : M-F 9am-5 : 30pm
Responsibilities :
- Using company vehicle, transport items to and from satellite clinics.
- During courier runs, pick-up packages, boxes, documents, mail, or other items as instructed.
- Participate in maintenance duties including outside cleanliness, snow removal, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
- Ability to climb, lift, bend, and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Possess valid Utah driver's license; copy of driving record will be required.
- Able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Ability to work independently, quickly, and efficiently.
- Customer-oriented work attitude.
