The Student Information Systems Coordinator (SISC) is responsible for the overall collection and management of record keeping. The SISC is a digital specialist within their role, and is driven by a joy for interacting with students, families, and staff.
Professional Duties:
Manage Henderson Collegiate’s attendance system
Maintain attendance reporting systems within PowerSchool
Perform ad-hoc analysis on attendance data
Communicate daily attendance to staff
Maintain accurate and timely truancy paperwork
Hold regular meetings with families who have attendance concerns
Work with Director of Operations on planning & execution of strategic attendance initiative
Manage Henderson Collegiate’s enrollment system
Manage SchoolMint software platform for all incoming applicants
Manage the overall enrollment process which includes onboarding for new families
Maintain all student records including, but is not limited to:
Student cumulative files
Updated bus rosters
Health, allergy and medication information
Pick-up authorization paperwork
Other rosters and student information as needed
Service students, families, and staff members for various needs at the front desk of Henderson Collegiate with a customer-service-oriented manner.
Collaborate with Director of Operations on select school projects
Qualifications and Requirements:
Previous experience in digital platforms that manage clients, scheduling, etc
Previous experience servicing a variety of populations
Highly organized with digital and hard copy records
Is a self-starter: The ideal candidate will be innovative in their approach to meeting personal and department goals
Continuously seeks feedback to improve their job performance
Digital fluency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Requirements (but not required):
Bachelor’s Degree (highly preferred)
Bi-lingual in Spanish
Previous experience with PowerSchool management
Prior professional experience working in a client serving environment (school, hospital, etc.)
Compensation: Salary is competitive and commensurate based on experience, with a range of $41,000-$74,000 per year. The pay scale for this position can be found here.
