Job Summary:

Meyer Laboratory is a nationwide chemical manufacturer located in Blue Springs, MO. Come join our team today as an Account Manager in the Chicago suburb area servicing our current customers and prospecting new customers to provide the highly personalized level of customer service that Meyer is known for.

Job Duties:

• Average 6-8 sales/service calls per day
• Delivering product to existing customers from local warehouse
• Sell add-on product to customers
• Perform manual and physical tasks daily
• Administrative duties including order processing, inventory, Accounts Receivable management
• Blue Collar/White Collar – boots and blue jeans while dealing with executives
• Travel up to 250 mile radius in territory weekly
• Potential for 2 overnights a month

Territory Coverage:

• Will County, IL

Required Qualifications:

• Field Service Technician, Account Management, or Route Sales Experience
• Excellent work history
• Committed to team-oriented outcomes and quality customer service
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly
• Have and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Mechanical Aptitude: Minor Electrical & Plumbing
• Able to learn how to rebuild pressure washers, car wash type arch systems and chemical dispensers – training provided
