Laboratory Services Director manages the daily activities of the laboratory. Develops laboratory policies and procedures and issues updates as needed. Being a Laboratory Services Director plans and designs experiments. Estimates the time and resources needed to complete projects. Additionally, Laboratory Services Director orders and inspects materials and equipment and maintains detailed and accurate inventory of lab supplies. Requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Laboratory Services Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Primary Purpose
Performs analysis of incoming waste to confirm profile requirements. Perform internal analysis of samples from plant systems to confirm conformance with proper operating limits. Perform analysis of residuals from incineration process for the determination of land disposal restrictions.

Education/Experience: Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or an Associate degree in a science related field with a minimum of 1 year of environmental/industrial laboratory experience or High School Diploma or its equivalent with 5 years of environmental/industrial laboratory experience required.
Knowledge and Abilities: Know and understand the fundamentals of chemistry. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
