Job Overview:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Director to oversee our laboratory operations. As the Laboratory Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of laboratory procedures, compliance with regulatory standards, and the overall management of the laboratory staff.
Duties:
- Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, CGMP, GLP, and other applicable standards
- Oversee all laboratory activities, including scientific research.
- Manage and supervise laboratory staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and instruments
- Monitor quality control measures to ensure accurate test results and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of test results
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in laboratory technology, and regulatory changes to maintain a high level of expertise
Experience:
- Masters Degree in Relevant field, PhD Preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical or research laboratory setting. Embryology Experience Preferred.
- Strong knowledge of embryology and reproductive sciences.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and compliance standards
- Proven experience in managing laboratory operations and leading a team of lab professionals
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
