Position: Laboratory Technician

Location:Bay Minette, AL

The QCQA role encompasses testing materials to ensure compliance and overseeing reporting duties for Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) tasks. Additionally, the QCQA is responsible for submitting daily reporting to accounting, tracking inventory, non-inventory, and production reporting. The selected candidate will conduct timely testing using specified methods, providing management with updated daily test results and electronic reports. While prior experience is not necessary, on-the-job training will be provided over a comprehensive 6-month period. We seek an energetic and adaptable individual capable of maintaining composure and productivity in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, offering not just a job but a potential career path for the right candidate. The candidate selected for this role will be situated within the Operations Department and will report directly to the Lead of the Blacklidge Advancement Center.

Skills/Competency:

• Excellent reading comprehension and writing skills are essential.
• Above-average Basic Math skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• The ability to multitask and stay focused on tasks in a deadline-driven environment is vital.

• Displaying effective time management and organizational skills is crucial. • Must demonstrate ownership and accountability for one's work.

• Self-motivated individuals who can also collaborate harmoniously within a team when required are preferred.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Ability to work in a tidy and organized manner is required.

Requirements:

• Current Driver’s License required
• Preferred: Some College Education
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, and Excel is necessary.
• Availability for overtime work as needed, sometimes with short notice, is essential.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time is required.
