Environmental Remediation / Heavy Civil / Geotechnical Contractor

The Laborer /Construction Worker role is responsible for a number of physically demanding task associated with Environmental / Civil construction projects.

The position will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions utilizing both hand and power tools, compactors, pressure washers, man lifts, rigging, earthwork, concrete work, pipe work etc.

This position is required to perform the following functions;

• Complete various assignments by safely and efficiently preforming task at hand on the job site.
• Ensure that company equipment and materials are maintained, kept clean, and stored in safe manner.

• Follow all instructions and company guidelines as indicated from Site Supervisor.

• Ability to communicate and work well with coworkers and customers.

Skills and Experience

Required

• 1-2 years construction experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift 50 LBS. and pass a pre-employment physical assessment and drug test.
• Periodic travel is required.

Preferred

• High school diploma or vocational training in closely related field.
• 10 Hour OSHA Construction Safety Training

• 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training and Annual 8 Hour Refresher (as needed)

• Mechanically inclined
• Experience with survey equipment (i.e. Laser and GPS)
