Position Title: Land Surveyor

Location: Rocky Hill, CT

Position Overview:

• This company is looking to add an entry level surveyor to their team to help grow and develop their career in the industry. This candidate must be knowledgeable of and abiding by safety requirements.
• A good understanding of traffic control and safety procedures for a variety of surveying and construction operations.
• Responsible of the care, cleaning, and use of a variety of surveying tools and equipment including field radios.
• They will also handle daily operation, checking and basic field adjustments on transits, total stations, total electronic station, data collectors, levels, compass, tribrach's, and tripods. In addition this candidate must be knowledgeable of the principles of performing basic surveys: leveling, traversing, triangulation, trilateration, public land surveys, metes and bounds surveys, construction surveys, and photo control surveys.
• They will coordinate field work for a variety of standard types of surveys under the supervision of a Party Chief.
• They will be expected to keep neat and orderly field notes for standard surveying operations: leveling, traversing, topographic mapping, layout, as-built surveys, boundary surveys, profile and cross-section surveys.

Requirements:

• 1 years of experience
• Knowledge of data collection
• Knowledge of total station set up
