    Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Professional Land Surveyor (PLS), who will be responsible for conducting precise measurements and mapping of land areas to determine boundaries, contours, and other physical characteristics.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct field surveys using advanced equipment such as total stations, GPS, and aerial drones to accurately measure and map land features.
    • Determine and demarcate property boundaries, easements, right-of-ways, and other legal boundaries in accordance with regulatory requirements and land surveying standards.
    • Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and plats documenting survey results, including boundary lines, topography, elevations, and land features.
    • Quantity Calculation: Calculate earthwork volumes, cut and fill quantities, and material quantities for construction activities based on survey data and project requirements.
    • Data Analysis: Collect, process, and analyze survey data using computer software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Trimble Business Center to generate survey reports, drawings, and digital terrain models.
    • Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of survey data through rigorous quality control measures, including error detection, data validation, and adherence to industry standards and best practices.
    • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of surveying personnel and construction workers on site, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA regulations.
    • Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, field crews, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to coordinate surveying activities and address any survey-related issues or concerns.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of survey data, field notes, project documentation, and correspondence to support project documentation and reporting requirements.

    Qualifications:

    • PLS certified
    • Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
    • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or certification required.
    • Extensive experience in land surveying, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking.
    • Proficiency in surveying software, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools.
    • Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and methodologies.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Familiarity with relevant land surveying regulations, standards, and best practices
