Land Surveyor jobs in Sun Valley, NV

F3 & Associates has immediate openings for Survey Chainman. The Chainman works under the direction of the Survey Party Chief with field responsibilities as directed. The duties include using survey equipment to set locations and measure control lines, elevations, areas and contours for topographic surveys and construction staking for construction projects. As part of a Survey Crew, the Chainman will work outdoors, sometime in hot and cold field conditions, on projects in commercial construction and industrial environments. This is an entry level position with significant growth opportunities.

This is a union position with Operating Engineers Local 3.

Experience:

• Some surveying experience is preferred, but general construction experience will be considered.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
• Ability to work under supervision.
• Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Good math and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrate a professional manner while communicating with co-workers and clients.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and be insurable at the firm’s standard rates and pass a mandatory pre-employment drug screen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50.34 per hour
