Ideally, this position would be based in Wisconsin, but flexibility on location may be possible for the right candidate. Travel will be required depending upon the nature and location of projects. This is considered an established professional position, requiring previous inventory management, forestry, analysis, and GIS experience or applicable education.

The position would serve as a key member of the Steigerwaldt Analysis and Technology Solutions department, a team that provides a variety of real estate, natural resource, and forestry-related analysis, inventory, data management, and mapping and technical solutions services to internal and external clients.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
At Steigerwaldt, we offer a Remote-Friendly Hybrid Work Model for our staff. Due to the nature of this role, the Forest Field Logistics Manager position is remote-friendly and does not need to work full time from our offices. Candidates located in Wisconsin or Midwest are preferred. The position is estimated to be roughly 40 percent field work and 60 percent office work but this can vary over periods of time dependent upon the nature of the work secured.
COMPENSATION
Salary commensurate with experience.
POSTING DATE
April 3, 2024. Position will be filled within one to three months. Interviews will be scheduled throughout this time period. Expected start is dependent upon candidate availability. There is flexibility in the start date.
