Position Overview:
As the Land Acquisitions and Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of our expansion, overseeing all aspects of land acquisition and development in Alabama. From identifying prime locations for development to collaborating with engineers and grading contractors, you will be responsible for navigating every facet of the new development spectrum.
Education, Skills, and Experience:
We are seeking a candidate with exceptional networking skills, proficiency in GIS mapping tools, and a deep understanding of local government zoning and engineering requirements. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in general contracting, geotechnical engineering, and civil engineering, coupled with a successful track record of negotiating with landowners and municipalities. A four-year degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field is required, with a Master's Degree considered a plus. The ideal candidate will have no less than two years of experience in a similar role.
